We advised our client in two litigation cases involving hundreds of employees who were claiming wage differences based on the interpretation of 20-year collective agreement for the past 20 years. The total value of these claims is in the region of €60m.
Due to several past amendments and interpretations, as well as precedent court decision in identical cases, the company needed to make a risk assessment of its chances of winning to decide how should handle any future claims.
